Kavi® Members Help
The Manage Activity Types tool allows you to view and manage the Activity Types used on your organization's Web site.
Activity Types are used in Activity Histories to indicate the nature of an event recorded in the activity history. Whenever a Kavi Members tool performs a task that changes a company or user record in the Kavi Members database, the change is recorded in the Full Activity Log and activity history tables and a default Activity Type (e.g., 'Added,' 'Edited,' 'Renewed,' etc.) is automatically assigned. When an administrator manually creates an Activity Note to add to a company or user activity history, the administrator may manually assign a custom Activity Type to this Activity Record.
Once an Activity Type is added and used in an activity record, it becomes permanently available in activity history searches and reports, even if it is later edited or deleted. However, a deleted Activity Type will not be available for new activity history entries.
Use the Manage Activity Types page to:
View all Activity Types defined for your organization's Web site.
Custom Activity Types may be edited or deleted.
Access the Add an Activity Type tool to add new Activity Types as needed.
View a tabular list of existing Activity Types, plus links to tools to add, edit or delete an Activity Type.
The list displays the following fields:

A short description of the Activity Type.
Links to tools you can click if you want to edit or delete an Activity Type.
