ATA e-Business Forum - Call For Speakers

You are invited to submit a proposal to present at the 2012 ATA e-Business Forum, to be held October 22-24, 2012 in Scottsdale, Arizona. The ATA e-Business Forum is the premier event for education, awareness, and networking regarding information exchange standards for the civil aviation industry. The 2012 ATA e-Business Forum is the most comprehensive event dedicated to information exchange standards and technologies in the global aviation industry.

As a speaker at the ATA e-Business Forum, you are seen as a leader who is helping to shape the future for our industry. Please note that this opportunity is for non-commercial presentations only. We are offering other opportunities for solution providers to market their product and services but are reserving these sessions for educational/informational presentations. Please note that proposals must but submitted by June 29, 2012.

Share Your Experiences

If you can answer yes to any of these questions, then we want to hear your stories.

Do you have solutions for particular technical or business problems you may have encountered?
Are you on the leading edge of implementing new standards? 
Are you finding new and creative ways to broaden your implementation? 
Are the ATA or S1000D standards a key component of your business strategy?

 Based on a survey of past attendees, here are some RECOMMENDED TOPICS.

Proposal Requirements

If you're interested, please submit a brief proposal with the following information. 

  • Title of presentation
  • Name, company, job title, email address, and phone number of the presenter
  • Applicable standards:
    • Spec 2000 (Chapter ___)
    • iSpec 2200
    • Spec 2300
    • Spec 42
    • S1000D
  • Brief abstract of the presentation (maximum 500 words), containing:
    • An introductory paragraph that summarizes the subject matter and scope of the presentation
    • Brief description of the key points/issues that will be discussed
    • The sequence in which the information will be provided

Additional Requirements

  • Proposals must be submitted by June 29, 2012.
  • Proposals must be non-proprietary and releasable to the public.
  • Not all proposals will be accepted
  • Proposals must pertain to ATA and/or S1000D standards
  • Proposals must be provided in Microsoft Word
  • Each session will be 30 minutes in length, including time for questions and answers. Requests for additional time will be considered.
  • No commercial presentations please.
