​Description
​​The Technical Sub-Team (TST) is​​ a sub-team of the Data Harmonization Working Group (DHWG). The purpose of the TST is to oversee the technical development and implementation of the ATA e-Business Program strategic objective for standards integration. TST responsibilities include developing and maintaining the ATA Logical Data Model, the canonical XML Schema Mapping Mode​l, guidelines for data transformation, and ensuring that the ATA e-Business Program has a consistent, integrated suite of XML schemas. The TST is responsible for developing and maintaining standard XML design conventions and constructs that will be used across all ATA e-Business Program schemas.​​

​Active Projects
The TST is developing a common technical infrastructure and XML design guidelines and conventions for the ATA e-Business Program. The purpose is to allow for greater technical harmonization across all of the ATA e-Business specifications. ​​The primary deliverable will be a set of technical guidelines and tools for use by the ATA Working Groups, covering topics such as:
  • XML Schema Naming and Design Guidelines
  • UML Modeling and Transformation Process
  • Working Group and DHWG Collaboration Model
  • A library of common, harmonized XML schema fragments (the Business Model Schema Library)
  • Mapping tables between existing standards and the harmonized Business Model schemas​
